There's something about film that digital simply can't recreate.
The soft grain, rich colors, and beautifully imperfect texture have a way of preserving memories with a depth that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Film slows the process down, encouraging me to photograph intentionally and focus on the moments that matter most.
While every session is photographed digitally, families also have the option to add authentic 35mm film for an heirloom experience that's as meaningful as the memories themselves. The result is a gallery that blends the consistency of digital photography with the unmistakable character of real film.

how do i decide where to take our family photos?
I make this super easy for you-I have a uniquely curated wardrobe of dresses ranging in sizes XS-XL. Even better? We'll hop on a call to plan everything and on here we'll discuss what to wear and even how to style the rest of your family. You'll be able to text me photos of outfit ideas and I can help you decide what will look best!
what do i wear to my in-home newborn session?
Yes! Alongside digital photography, I also photograph many sessions on 35mm film. Film creates beautiful grain, soft colors, and a timeless quality that's perfect for newborn, maternity, and family portraits. Many families choose to include both digital and film images for a gallery that feels truly one of a kind.
do you shoot on film?
Of course you can! Each studio's fee averages around $150-200 for the rental so just budget accordingly. I'm happy to book it for you, you'll just let me know in our planning call and I'll invoice you for the additional fee!
can we schedule our newborn session in a jacksonville studio?
Don't worry, I've got you. Newborn sessions are completely baby-led, which means we pause whenever your little one needs to eat, cuddle, or be comforted. I never rush or force poses, and with a little patience, we'll capture beautiful, natural images you'll treasure for years to come.
What if my baby won't sleep?
Booking around 20 weeks along ensures availability around your due date.
Newborn sessions typically take place within the first 14 days after birth, when babies are still sleepy & easiest to pose. If your little one arrives early or late, don't worry, I reserve space around your due date and adjust your session once your baby is born. We can also conduct lifestyle newborn sessions until up to 12 weeks!
